About the Recipes

This is a compilation of recipes. I love those quick and easy meals that are ready when you have 30 minutes or less. I also love being able to take my time, when possible, and really test my skills creating something impressive. How great it feels to spend the day whipping up something elaborate; then set it on the table and get that WOW factor!

Because one of my other passions is THRIVE foods, most of these recipes have a conversion for those cooking with their THRIVE ingredients, just follow the conversion chart I have posted.

Cooking from scratch with basic ingredients is incredibly easy once you learn some very basic techniques. If you find yourself looking at a recipe and wondering "what in the world", please contact me. If you are interested in finding joy in cooking with the basics, I want you to be successful every time you find yourself in the kitchen.

Not all recipes on this blog are my own, so I have done my best to get the expressed permission of those from whom I have received inspiration. Some recipes I have had for so many years, I am not always sure where they originated from.
